This Privacy Policy explains how Internet Checkup ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you visit our website or use our web app.

Information we collect

• Purchase information: when you buy through ClickBank, ClickBank sends us your email address, order receipt number and transaction status so we can give you access. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Account information: your email address and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider.
• Bills you upload: the image or PDF of your internet bill and the information extracted from it (provider, plan, charges and amounts).
• Questionnaire answers: information about your household's internet use that you choose to provide.
• Technical information: when you use features such as the Privacy Scan or Speed Scan, we process information like your IP address, approximate location, internet provider, browser details and connection measurements to show you your results.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide the service: to verify your purchase, give you access, analyze your bill, generate your reports and negotiation scripts, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your bills for advertising.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service, including our hosting and database provider, an AI provider that processes uploaded bills to generate your analysis, and ClickBank, which processes payments as the retailer of this product. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.

Storage and deletion

Your uploaded bills are stored privately and are only accessible to your account. You can delete any bill and its analysis at any time from the app. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing contact@malmforyou.com. We keep purchase records as needed for accounting, refunds and legal obligations.

Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), private storage and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email contact@malmforyou.com.

Children

Internet Checkup is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
